Flow meditation tour of the Reykjanes peninsula

Embark on a meditative journey on a road less travelled.

Join one of our experienced meditation teachers exploring the wild, intimate and authentic side of Iceland for a day. Discover the hidden gems of the enchanting Reykjanes peninsula with a small group of fellow travellers, including mirror like lakes, moss covered lava fields, black volcanic beaches and crashing waves.

 

As we travel through the landscapes we will move through the six modes of Flow. In each location we will practice a different meditation; Breathe, Move, Let go, Focus, Calm, and Restore.

In addition to your meditation teacher, you will be in the capable hands of a knowledgeable local guide who will share with you the history, geography and folklore of the area and the places visited. A locally sourced gourmet picnic lunch will be provided, in addition to healthy snacks and refreshments. Vegan, gluten free and vegetarian options are available.

Itinerary

We will pick you up at your hotel between 9-10 AM before we head out to the Reykjanes peninsula. Among the places we will visit are the black beaches and volcanic caves around Kleifarvatn lake and the geothermal fields of Seltún, we will gaze over the infinite stretch of ocean over the majestic cliffs at Krýsuvíkurbjarg and walk barefoot in the moss covered lava fields of the Reykjanesfólkvangur natural reserve.

Good to know

The weather in Iceland can be moody and unpredictable, even in summer. Make sure you wear comfortable clothing that will keep you dry and warm outside. We recommend layering a sweater and a shell jacket paired with comfortable trousers, or even shell trousers. We will not embark on any heavy hiking but some walking in rough terrain is to be expected so wear comfortable shoes with traction. A hat or beanie that protects your ears from the wind will also come in handy.

 

To allow you to fully immerse yourself in the experience, we highly recommend that you keep your phone tucked away on airplane mode during the meditations. We will make sure the trip is well documented and will send you the photos after the trip, so you can unplug as much as possible.
